I had a similar problem. My Bravo 80SX 16v (1249cc 2001) would intermittently refuse to start then wouldn't start at all. I initially rang a local Fiat dealer for the emergency code. It cost £20 and enabled me to get the car started but it takes exactly 1 minute to start the car using the code (see drivers handbook for procedure).
All ignition lights come on as normal. Found a thread that tells you how to test the injectors on the 1.6 model with a multimeter but as I don't have a manuel for the car at present not sure if 1.4 is different.

It could be possible that with the 2012 model they revised the line and made it much more durable. Problem with them is that because they are very close to the exhaust gallery, they'll get blocked inside because

Dakle, prije nekoliko nedelja sam kupio Fiat Bravo GT 1.8 16v. Nije bio u voznom stanju, tako da smo ja i otac pokušali da ga sredimo. Ispala je ponuda po izuzetno povoljnoj cijeni, tako da nisam imao šta da izgubim. Na autu je sjeban dihtung glave motora (navjerovatnije, mada nisam 100% siguran, vraća vodu na čep.), ali to nije glavni problem.
