For players that are just starting out in GW2, if they want to get a mount, they have to figure out how to change the personal story and use their level 80 boost. Even if they do figure all of that out, asking to play the story out of sequence for someone new to GW2 is just not a good option at all.

Raptor Mount: 10 Unlock the raptor by saving Seeker's Village during the story chapter Sparking the Flame. Springer Mount: 14 Purchase the springer from the Highjump Ranch task vendor in the Desert Highlands. Skimmer Mount: 22 Purchase the skimmer from the Skimmer Ranch task vendor in the Elon Riverlands. Jackal Mount: 14

I mean unblocking it takes a first mastery raptor, you can collect masteries only at lvl80 as far as I remember. So unless they changed something they need lvl80 to get raptor anyways. I know we couldn't take a friend below dung level to play with as as well as go into my story instance of a higher level so.

No, but it's very easy to get it. I just got my girlfriend into the game and after she tried out some of the professions, we used the included level 80 boost on one character. With this level 80, she went and did the first part of the Path of Fire story, which took about 30 minutes. At the end of it, you unlock the raptor mount and it can be

No, you have to earn them all except the Raptor which is given automatically now. You'll get the Raptor given to you on your next 10th level (10,20,30,etc.). Yeas mount are not given to you. Even if you buy pof and the living story you won't get the griffin and skyscale like that, they are endgame projects. Some may disagree, but I have found that for general open world exploration, the springer is better than the raptor. The raptor is faster over open ground, but the springer can jump over obstacles and reach vistas and other high places that the raptor can't. Especially handy in rugged maps like the Shiverpeaks. Boosted Character trying to get to Sparking the Flame. I'm a new player (played ages ago at initial release) and boosted a character mainly for the mount. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to start the "Sparking the Flame" quest. I'm in Lion's Arch, and have gone to Sanctum Harbor but I can't figure out how to board the airship. The raptor mount will also be unlocked for owners of Guild Wars 2: Secrets of the Obscure, although you’ll still need Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire™ to train its associated Masteries. Reintroducing the Skyscale. The skyscale mount originally launched with the finale of Living World Season 4, “War Eternal.”
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic. Alpha² Aug 25, 2022 @ 4:14pm. It used to be that you had to do the first POF story mission to unlock your mount but now you just need to own POF and hit lvk 10. Hope that helps. #3. gooska. Aug 25, 2022 @ 4:15pm.

We’ve improved leveling pacing, updated default options and key binds to be more sensible, added multiple tiers of new achievements that guide players up through level 80, added a free trial for the raptor mount once players reach level 10 (which becomes a permanent unlock after purchasing an expansion), adjusted level-up rewards and Black

Even more-so if you have a level 400 Jeweler to craft the other parts that will give you more items or various other effects like increased mount stamina regeneration. The other masteries don't really seem to have much influence outside of the EoD expansion, except for turtle of course, but the siege turtle is locked behind the notoriously
Game Discussion. Players Helping Players. PoF stuck because of mastery points. So I im a returning player who bought PoF and im at the point where you need to purchase "canyon jumping" on raptor but I have literally no master points. The game literally has the entire map set up to only work with the jump mount or jackyl, so I cant even go and

A “light bulb” went off in my head and I thought, “Why don’t I go do the masteries that have just the base level raptor, springer and skimmer.” As I progress with those, I will earn more ability points for my mounts. On this guide I will not include the insights I did in my first article called “Guild Wars 2: Crystal Oasis”.
