I also am having problems with my mouse playing GTA San Andreas under Windows 8. The mouse moves on the menu's, but I cannot click any options. I instead have to press the return button to navigate the menus. While in the game, the mouse doesn't seem to work at all. It seems as if the game doesn't recognize the mouse clicks under Windows 8.

For the crashing (this is what it works for me): 1.Go to your GTA San Andreas folder 2.Right click the file gta-sa and select properties 3.Then choose compatibility 4. tick : Run this program in compatility mode for: (and select here Windows XP (Service Pack 2) EDIT: if anyone has other methods please post them :)
